About the Medical Oncology team
The Medical Oncology Unit at Monash Health is one of the largest in Australia. It comprises inpatient, outpatient and chemotherapy infusion services as well as an extensive clinical trials unit to provide comprehensive cancer care in all tumour streams and disciplines for all patients. In keeping with Monash Health’s iCARE values, the unit acts with integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence to promote best practice and management for the benefit of all patients. Key areas include the provision of chemotherapeutics for all solid organ malignancies being treated with curative or palliative intent. Services are provided at Moorabbin Hospital (inpatient, outpatient and infusion centre), Dandenong Hospital (inpatient, outpatient and infusion centre) as well as Monash Medical Centre (Clinical trials at the Monash Health Translational Precinct – MHTP and inpatient services).
About the role
This position is for a Medical Oncologist looking to join a dynamic academic department spread across the Monash Health campuses. Expertise in breast cancer and/or brain and/or gynaecological Oncology is preferred. Higher degree and/or extensive research experience preferred.
