Queensland X-Ray has more than 40 practices, led by the most experienced team of radiologists and nuclear imaging specialists in the state. Our caring team of professionals from the technical, nursing, and admin support fields are all focused on providing the best service, care and clinical outcomes to our patients and referrers.About the role:
We are pleased to announce the imminent launch of our new practice based within the Taringa Westside Private Hospital – and we will need a strong leader to launch this practice.

This role will see you providing leadership for the day to day operations and management of the practice, at all times upholding our Core Values – specifically service excellence, respect and honesty, accountability and responsibility, continuous improvement, and confidentiality. You will also be involved in patient, account and HR matters along the way.
This comprehensive practice will be offering the following modalities: MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, OPG and plain x-ray (including interventional radiology theatre).
Ideally you will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Ability to collaborate with the Operations Team and build a strong practice from the ground up
- Experience leading a team; demonstrating the ability to coach and manage a team as well act as a positive mentor to team members
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, referrers and hospital management.
- Ongoing commitment to skill development also encompassing personal and professional growth, for yourself and the team
- Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience, and coaching those around you to do the same
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues
- Evidence of contribution to efficient, commercially-focused outcomes in your current/previous position
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to high quality patient care and teamwork, as evidenced through previous performance and internal references
- Be energetic and agile in their approach/attitude to work
- Proven ability to prioritise practice needs and identify/implement efficient workflows
- Have excellent organisational skills with demonstrable understanding of roster management, efficient workflow and medical imaging practice processes, policies and procedures
- Have excellent experience across a broad range of medical imaging practice management areas including billing and typing
