La Trobe St Medical is a GP clinic located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We are currently looking for a new Receptionist/Practice Manager to join our team.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is driven, empathetic and headstrong. We have patients who are dealing with drug dependency and mental health issues, so sensitivity and discretion is a must. Our clinic can also be fast paced, which means that we need someone who is able to multitask efficiently and cope under high pressure. You must be able to feel comfortable in directing a team and working closely with our two general practioners.
The Practice Manager role involves overseeing daily operations, running a small team of receptionists, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, supply management, rostering, debt management and maintaining OH&S.
Our ideal candidate should have at least 12 months reception experience, preferably with experience using Medical Director and PracSoft. You should also have CPR training, or be willing to undertake it.
