Waratah Private Hospital is a 68 bed facility catering for specialties including inpatient and day rehabilitation, inpatient medical services as well as various surgical specialties including orthopaedics, gynaecology, general/bariatric surgery and cosmetic surgery.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic Level 1/2 Physiotherapists to join our dynamic Allied Health team in providing exceptional service to our patients. There are two permanent roles currently vacant at Waratah Private Hospital:
- Part-Time (2 days/week) Level 1/2 Physiotherapist
- Full-Time Level 1/2 Physiotherapist
As part of this role, you will be expected to manage your caseload independently (with access to a Senior Physiotherapist for consultation regarding complex and novel patients). You will also participate in ongoing quality improvement projects both within the Allied Health team and the hospital in general.

Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Experience in providing physiotherapy rehabilitation services in an inpatient or day hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Evidence of commitment to professional development and quality improvement activities
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Desirable criteria:
- FIM accredited
- Plastering/casting experience
- Hydrotherapy experience
