About the company
Our client is one of the leading Aged Care providers within Queensland, being a well-established provider, they hold a strong portfolio of aged care residences and retirement communities.
About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse with direct line management experience. Working closely with the facility manager of this large aged care facility, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the clinical operation and direction of this medium aged care facility.
Utilising your extensive clinical experience, communication & interpersonal skills, you will comfortably liaise, motivate, lead & educate healthcare team members to ensure that resident care and lifestyle needs are met & maintained.
You will be a comfortable using electronic record systems, ensuring that all resident documentation is accurately recorded & updated.
Duties
- Daily management & oversight of clinical governance
- Provide leadership & direction to care team members
- On call duties when required
- Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
- Ensure resident care plans are completed accurately
- Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
- Management & maximisation of ACFI process
- Actively promote a culture of service delivery
Skills and Experience
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Staff training & leadership experience
- Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent clinical skills
- Experience with clinical management systems
- Experience with ACFI process
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of quality & accreditation indicators
