The team at Grange Road Dental Group is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care in a gentle, professional and caring environment. We are comprised of three dentists, one hygienist and five clinical and administration staff.
The role encompasses clinically assisting our Dentists and providing support to front office in the form of answering phones and liaising with patients and families.
Key responsibilities and duties will include:
· Chair side assisting
· Surgery preparation/ sterilisation/ infection control
· Answering phone queries/ making patient appointments
· Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records
Essential Skills & Experience required for this position are:
· Experience is essential and we are looking for a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical dental assisting
· A completed Level III Certificate in dental assisting
· Proficient knowledge in infection control and sterilisation
· Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
· Attention to detail
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Experience with Oasis dental practice management software is an advantageous but not essential
The ideal person for this position is well organised, friendly, caring, enjoys interacting with people and has the ability to multi-task. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
The hours of work will be up to 36 hours per week.
