The Resident Support Worker will be responsible for providing support within the areas of physical, emotional and environmental needs within our brand new 80 bed Residential Aged Care facility in Wembley.
Your daily routine will be as varied as the people you are looking after, but the goal will always be to maintain resident independence, improve their sense of well-being and enable choice and decision making.
Working under the direction of the Registered Nurse you will need to demonstrate you have the ability to provide highly responsive individualised care. You will be great at delivering excellent customer service, be well motivated and have excellent communication skills.
The Resident Support Worker will either need to be or show a willingness to become Medication, Vital Signs, Blood Glucose Level and Dysphagia competent.
