On behalf of Medibank's Garrison Health Services, HCA has been subcontracted to deliver the ADF On-base Primary Healthcare Services.

The Health Clerk is responsible for the provision administration assistance to the Health Centres  in the delivery of services to ADF Members in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.

The position will commence as casual/locum, with the opportunity for part time & full time employment should the opportunity arise. 

To be successful for consideration as a Health Clerk you will need to meet the following criteria.

Essential Requirements

• Be an Australian Citizen
• Have an understanding of medical Terminology or be prepared to do a short online course
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to patients and work with limited supervision 
• Must have the ability to successfully complete a criminal history check
• Ability to hold a baseline security clearance with the Australia Government Security Vetting Agency
• Previous experience working with the Australian Defence Force will be viewed favourably

In addition, as a Health Clerk you will be required to
   • Health Clerk shifts
   • Adhere to privacy legislation and Defence Policies and Procedures in relation to         the protection of Personal Information
