The Supported Residential Services /Supporting Accommodation for Vulnerable Victorians Initiative (SRS/SAVVI) team, which sits within the Community Care Program, is seeking an experienced worker to implement the Facility Cost Relief (FCR) component of SAVVI for the Inner-Mid South Cluster of pension level SRS’s. The role seeks to improve the viability and sustainability of each SRS in order to meet the increasingly complex support needs of residents.
To be suitable for the role you will possess the following:
• A professional qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Occupational Therapy
.
• Qualification in Social Work (eligibility for registration with AASW) or other related health discipline..
• An understanding of the needs of pension-level SRS proprietors in relation to running a viable, sustainable business.
• An understanding of the complex needs of residents of pension-level SRS's.
• Comprehensive financial management expertise, including:
•budget development and monitoring
• awareness of sector funding and financial reporting requirements; and
•working knowledge of computerised financial management systems and spreadsheets
