Pharmacy Store Operations Support Manager / Merchandiser - Full Time

We are seeking dynamic and innovative person with the relevant knowledge, experience and passion to join our great team on a full-time basis. The successful application will be working closely with the Operations Manager, the Operations Team and store Retail Managers to implement programs, coach new team members and maintain standards in your allocated group of pharmacies and across our growing pharmacy brands.

This position encompasses travel within the Sydney metropolitan area, Newcastle, Regional Areas and Interstate travel at times.

Our Head Office is based in Chullora, Sydney however this role is performed mainly on the road and visiting stores in and around Sydney.

In this role you will need to be self-motivated and confident to work collaboratively with our Operations Manager, other operations team members and store teams. You will need to have an eye for detail in merchandising and a passion for promoting our brand and products. Providing ongoing operational support to our stores is the key to the role.

Your Key Responsibilities include;

• Coach and coordinate a group of Retail Managers and in-store teams. 
• Work with Retail Managers on how to improve their Front of Shop Operations and grow sales.
• Merchandising of stock at a high level and as per our planograms.
• Assist in ensuring planograms and promotions are implemented at a store level.
• Conduct routine cycle calls to our pharmacies and assess merchandising and operational requirements working with the store to implement changes as required.
• Assist with new store set ups, including opening orders, liaising with company representatives and store presentation as required.
• Assist new stores with POS training. 
• Ensure all pharmacies are merchandised as per our company planograms and ensure Retail Managers are trained on how to maintain a consistent "look" between the pharmacies.
• Develop strong working relationships with the pharmacies, Owners, Retail Mangers and team members.
• Assist with the organisation of In store events such as Health Expo's, Grand Opening Sales and Birthday sales.
• Be the first point of contact between stores and the Pharmacy 4 Less Support Office.

To be successful, you will possess the following;

• Minimum 2-3 years previous work experience in a Retail Merchandising or Retail Management role.
• Have experience in setting up new stores and the re-merchandising of existing stores.
• Have worked previously in a large retail format.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of visual merchandising techniques
•  Have a strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to think quickly
• Are able to work independently on site without supervision
• Effective communication, organisation and time management skill
• Willingness and ability to work outside normal business hours to cater to retailer trading hours when required (flexibility applies)
• Excellent customer service skills

As the role is a merchandising role, you will be required to lift product or boxes (10kg max) and push store trolleys with stock.
