About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join the Slade Team at Freemasons Hospital in East Melbourne on a part time basis working Saturdays 8.00am – 12.00pm, delivering the highest service levels to our hospital clients.
Your main responsibilities will include but would not be limited to:
- Maintaining excellent levels of customer service
- Dispensing medications for hospital patients and outpatients
- Serving retail customers and dealing with OTC enquiries
- Processing ad hoc imprest requests
- Ensuring patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
About You:
The person we are looking for will have the following:
- Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a pharmacist
- Well developed pharmacy skills and Australian pharmacy experience essential
- A sound working knowledge of the PBS
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to think ‘outside the box’
- Good working knowledge of Fred dispense
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
