ACM Healthcare is working with a government organisation and are interested in speaking with Psychologists & Social workers who have an interest in providing clinical support and service quality assurance to ex-military personnel and their families.
Ideally, you will have extensive experience in assisting the team with triaging and coordination of complex and potentially high-risk clients.
Typical duties of the Psychologist/Social Worker will include:
- Triaging and coordinating referrals of complex and potentially high-risk clients escalated to your team via a number of referral pathways.
- Ensuring escalated cases are identified and promptly triaged.
- Direct client contact to assess risk and coordinate care responses.
- Ensuring that cases identified as complex or high-risk are referred to the appropriate office.
- Relevant record-keeping
- Ensuring compliance is align with clinical practice policies.
- Provision of high level clinical guidance and advice.
- Assist in the development of clinical program policy advice and procedures.
- Other duties as determined.
Mandatory attributes:
- Qualifications and relevant general registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
- If you are a Social Worker you MUST have AASW accreditation & AMHSW certification
- Minimum of 24 months experience in a clinical position
- Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of a caseload of complex and potentially at-risk clients
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including capacity to liaise with and develop productive relationships with other organisations
- Due to the nature of the positions, applicants required full eligble working rights within Australia, to adhere to goverment regulations.
Desirable attributes:
- Community or Defence mental health team experience
- Expertise in treating substance abuse, mood, and anxiety disorders, PTSD
