About the Role

We are currently seeking a strategic and technically experienced IT Senior Systems Engineer, accountable for ensuring smooth IT infrastructure operation and support of all GreenLight Clinical (GLC) business aspects.

Reporting to the Head of Data Management in this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing IT architecture, smooth IT business operation and IT support for Australian and global clinical studies
• Supporting the implementation, validation, maintenance and upgrading of all relevant software and tools used by the business; working with external vendors, as required.
• Following validated system conventions, contribute to Clinical operations, Data management, Safety, Regulatory, Biostatistical and other aspects of business operation
• Function as IT expert liaison with cross-functional team members, external vendors and clients
• Work with senior management to set global IT strategy

About You
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following role requirements (Selection Criteria):

Essential

• Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in Computer Engineering or IT-related field from an accredited institution; or a licensed or certified IT professional
• Extensive hands on IT system maintenance experience
• Experience in gathering requirements and preparation of specifications
• Working knowledge of web based applications, cloud technology and mobile app platforms.
• Be familiar with legacy technologies, system integration concepts, internet security and cloud technology
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards (e.g. ICH/FDA guidelines, GCP, CDISC standards, GCDMP, 21 CFR 11 etc.) and their application to business
• Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment to meet demanding timelines

Desirable

• Knowledge of clinical/health systems as well as knowledge of cultural/professional practices in Australia
• Exposure or development of mobile Apps and automated testing experience will be highly regarded
• Previous experience leading IT Management Team
