On offer:

- Base salary up to $110,000 plus super & salary packaging options

- Full time

- Funded until June 2019

About the role:

  • Providing clinical support services including psychological assessment, consultation, formulations, therapeutic interventions and professional services
  • Working with ATSI clients suffering from transgenerational trauma

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist / a Regular Psychologist
  • Relevant and accredited Clinical Psychology postgraduate qualifications at a Masters or Doctorate level
  • An understanding of the impact of colonisation and the resulting government policies/practices on Aboriginal peoples social and emotional well-being
  • An understanding of Aboriginal mental health service models including the significance of the impact of trans-generational trauma and the importance of trauma informed practice
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention services to Aboriginal people in culturally safe settings
  • Experience working with therapeutic models; CBT, Narrative therapy, etc
