About the role:

Providing clinical support services including psychological assessment, consultation, formulations, therapeutic interventions and professional services
Working with ATSI clients suffering from transgenerational trauma

Essential Criteria:

Current AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist / a Regular Psychologist
Relevant and accredited Clinical Psychology postgraduate qualifications at a Masters or Doctorate level
An understanding of the impact of colonisation and the resulting government policies/practices on Aboriginal peoples social and emotional well-being
An understanding of Aboriginal mental health service models including the significance of the impact of trans-generational trauma and the importance of trauma informed practice
Demonstrated experience in the provision of psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention services to Aboriginal people in culturally safe settings
Experience working with therapeutic models; CBT, Narrative therapy, etc
