The key role of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to provide day to day clinical expertise and leadership to all subordinate care staff at Ashleigh House (residential aged care), in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor. The RN will have a particular focus on specialised care needs such as diabetes management, pain management, behaviour management, palliative care, wound care etc, and consultation as needed with other health professionals. The RN will work closely with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure that the daily care provided to residents is of the highest quality.
Qualifications:
- Registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a Residential Aged Care service
- Experience in clinical skills.
- Experience in leading and directing staff.
