About the business and the role
Yallambee Lodge, a service of Evergreen Life Care Limited, is a 106 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in West Gosford. We are seeking suitably experienced and qualified Certificate III's in Aged Care staff for part-time and casual employment. This is an exciting opportunity to work up to 76 hours per fortnight across a wide range of shifts
You will need to bring your enthusiasm, compassion and experience along with your interest in working in a person centred environment. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team and independently, sound interpersonal skills and a commitment to a continuous improvement approach.
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III in Aged Care
- Current National Criminal Record Check
- Must be computer literate (you may be required to demonstrate this at interview)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Previous Experience in Residential Aged Care
- Medication Management package dispensing
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with all stakeholders
- Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge and skills in contemporary aged care services
- Knowledge of Aged Care Standards
Desirable:
- Experience in Dementia Care
- Computer Operations and experience using documentation software
- Knowledge of ACFI and Care Plans
