About the Opportunity
CH2 are looking for a Business Unit Manager to lead the Vet Business and manage the Business Development Mangers across Australia. Wholesaling is a fast-paced dynamic environment and you will need to be comfortable working within a high energy company seeking to gain market share. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The key responsibilities of the role include being responsible for achieving the national sales revenue and margin by retaining profitable customers and strategically targeting and converting profitable new business. Manage the field sales force to achieve the business goals by developing a highly motivated, professional and effective team. Retain and develop strategic relationships with customers and suppliers and continue to build the CH2 Brand.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years Sales and/or Marketing management experience in the Vet Industry
- Demonstrated experience in improving work practices/ return on investment
- Experience in managing a sales team, including margin and territory management
- Experience in managing teams through a change process
- Detailed product knowledge
- Strong business acumen
- Highly developed leadership & motivational skills
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills with the ability to liaise with teams both external and internal to the organisation
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills – word, excel and power point.
You will be a team player & strategic thinker. You will be highly motivated, energetic & professional who is results and team focused.
