Exciting opportunity for Remedial Massage Therapist Position available in Cairns. 

Commencing July/August 2018.

• Central location close to esplanade, shops and public transport.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Current/previous work experience in private clinic setting

• Qualifications in other natural health modalities such as Pregnancy and post-natal massage, acupuncture/dry needling,cupping, reflexology, heated stone massage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy massage or other therapies will be highly advantageous

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide remedial massage to relieve muscle tension and pain, improve blood circulation, encourage relaxation, improve sports performance and injury prevention/recovery. 

• Contributing to the growth of the practice through seeking additional referrals
• Building and maintaining a returning client list
• Advice on relaxation, stretching and general health.

Qualifications essential:

• Diploma of Remedial Massage or Myotherapy

• Current First Aid and Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Association membership

• Ability to be registered with private health funds

• Ability to work at least two evenings and Saturday

• New graduates are welcome to apply as long as they have the minimum requirements listed above.

This role would provide a very secure job with great growth and an expanding client base - starting at 16 clients per week minimum. Also with lots of potential and satisfaction.
