Your role in our future:

 

An exciting opportunity exists in the Day Therapy Unit at Peter Mac for a Clinical Nurse Consultant, Apheresis with skills, relevant qualifications and experience in apheresis services. This role is instrumental in the provision of clinical oversight of the Apheresis Unit in partnership with our experienced clinical nursing team, Nurse Unit Manager and Medical Head of Unit. Key responsibilities for this role include clinical nursing leadership; professional development; education and training of nursing staff; service development; a quality and research focus and regulatory compliance in the delivery of the Apheresis services.

 

The Day Therapy Unit includes Chemotherapy, Medical Day, Apheresis, Clinical Trials and Transfusion services and provides comprehensive Day Therapy services for patients treated within the Parkville precinct. This unit provides staff with a highly challenging and rewarding place to work, an opportunity to partner with a specialised team of expert clinicians who aspiring to deliver the best quality care and support for our patients.
