Healthcare Australia currently has opportunities for experienced Support Workers to join Australia's largest and most reputable Community Care agency, to provide care and support to people who live with physical and intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviours.
The areaswe are looking in include: North Shore, Northern Beaches and surroundings.

Your role may vary and will include daily living skills, community access, promoting independence, planning, assisting with medication and helping our clients achieve their goals. 

We offer a wide variety of shifts - ranging from Mornings/Afternoons/Active Nights and Sleepovers - in a range of different settings including group homes and residences, individual homes, respite and day programs. You have the freedom to choose where and when you want to work - a perfect position if you are looking for a few extra shifts around your current job or are looking for a suitable work-life balance!

This is an extremely rewarding role that will have you finishing each shift knowing you have improved the lives of others and truly made a difference!

To be considered to join our agency and to receive shifts when and where you want, you must have the following:

• 6 Months+ Experience caring for people with a disability of all age groups 
• Experience with providing Domestic Assistance and Community access activities
• Valid NSW drivers licence and access to a car
• First Aid certificate (dated within the last 3 years)
• CPR certificate (dated within the last 12 months)
• Current police check and current Working with Children Check (for paid roles)
• Willing to travel to Sydney CBD for an on-boarding session if necessary

Ideally, you will be an organised, caring individual who is flexible and be able to work unsupervised.
