We are currently working with a number of private practices and hospitals in various locations around beautiful sunny Queensland.  You can opt to work in the hustle and bustle of Brisbane city or maybe the seaside is more your style or perhaps head out west for a country experience  whatever your into then we have the locum, contract or permanent opportunity for you.
  
A little about the role:
Ideally, you will be an experienced radiographer available for periodic locum work in the Queensland area. You will be able to perform a range of general x – rays, have experience in theatre environment and using mobiles. You will also be highly sought after if you have tapped into another modality like CT, MRI, Cath Lab or Mammography. Most clients will operate various machines types which you will be brief on for the individual location you will be working at. With our regional locum roles you will be offered a great hourly rate and potential accommodation and transport support.  
  
Duties you will be responsible for:

• Demonstrated ability to perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations
• Able to work autonomously for the Sole Radiographer positions and be self motivated to run a busy patient list with minimal supervision.
• Genuine and positive communication with patients and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple task
• Solid knowledge of PACS/RIS systems

Skills and Experience:

• AHPRA Registered
• QLD Radiation User Licence
• ASMIRT is advantageous
• If you are a CT candidate the ability to cannulate is favourable + have your CPR Certification
• Mammography – have the ability to see 25 patients per day
• Ability to participate in after hours and or on call rosters for hospital roles.
• Correct working rights for Australia
