The Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) enables women to be cared for by the same midwife supported by a small group of midwives during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period. This service is available for women categorised either normal or high risk. The Caseload Midwife works in partnership with an obstetrician.
The role of the Caseload Midwife – MGP is to provide Midwifery care in any setting including the home, community, hospital and clinic to assess needs, plan and coordinate appropriate service delivery in partnership with women and other healthcare providers and to ensure the provision of best practice and quality midwifery care and support.

- Permanent full-time
- Total Remuneration package value up to $98,774 p.a. Appointees will be required to work under the Case Load Midwifery industrial agreement wich includes an annualised salary range of $67,295 to $86,316 p.a. (Nurse Grade 5) with 35% loading and 6 weeks annual Recreational Leave with 17.5% loading
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%

- Roles that have a direct contact with patients or who in the course of their work may be exposed to blood/body fluids or contaminated sharps are required to be immunised for Hepatitis B.
