Due to continued, national growth; a rare opportunity now exists for a suitably qualified Medical Practitioners to join our national, online team of Prescribing Practitioners.
About the role
The Prescribing Practitioner is responsible for issuing prescriptions for aesthetics and cosmetic therapies and treatments including filler and cosmetic injections. All clients complete a face to face consultation with an AHPRHA certified Registered Nurse covering patients medical information, discussion of side effects, treatments, medical history and contraindications to treatments. The Prescribing Practitioner completes the consultation online and issues the script electronically via an online portal.
About You
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Aesthetics background preferred, other related specialties considered
- Ongoing training and development provided
Skills and Qualifications
- Medical knowledge of aesthetics preferred
- Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate to wide audience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/guidance and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
