Stephen Henry Optometry is a boutique independent Optometry Practice located in East Toowoomba. We strongly believe in the importance of quality and good old-fashioned customer service.
An exciting opportunity exists for an optimistic, highly self-motivated individual to join our family as an Optical Assistant/Dispenser. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. No weekends or late nights.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Making and following up on appointment bookings
- Assisting clients with frame selection
- Dispensing services
- Assisting with stock selection and stock control
- General reception and administration duties
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be heavily involved in their experience within the practice.
The successful applicant will hold the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in the Optical industry
- Have great customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be well presented
- Be fun loving and engaging with clients
- A passion and knowledge of optical fashion with willingness to keep up to date with trends
- Strong communication whether it be written or verbal
- The ability to enhance the client's overall experience from the moment they enter the practice
