Exercise is medicine and Allied are looking for passionate individuals from graduates through to experienced practitioners to help revolutionise the fitness and health industry through evidence based exercise interventions. Allied is a leading and innovative provider of allied health services that integrates health with the fitness industry. Allied are seeking multiple motivated, passionate and experienced Exercise Physiologists to provide varied services on a full time basis. Allied are rapidly growing across Australia with 70+ current locations and will soon have over 180 clinics making Allied one of the largest privately owned allied health providers in the country. 

Duties will include: 

• Providing assessment and exercise prescription with a strong focus on sustainable outcomes and discharge for self-maintenance
• Providing comprehensive assessments and treatment to a varied client base, from healthy populations to chronic disease management to musculoskeletal and sports injuries
• Delivery of corporate health services and training such as health checks, training, coaching and one off corporate assessments
• Working under state and federal based schemes
• Building networks and educating both the community and partners on the benefits of Exercise Physiology.
• Communicating and relationship building with medical practitioners, allied health professionals and specialists

Essential:

• Accredited as an AEP with ESSA
• Full driver's license and transport
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail, including ability to write comprehensive reports
• The ability to administer own clinical practice, including case noting and billing
• Ability to build and maintain/retain client base
• Professional indemnity insurance or willingness to obtain

Desirable:

• Sales training / experience
• Experience working in a gym
• Specific population specialty (such as sport, diabetes, cancer etc.)
• Marketing experience
