Casual Dental Assistant required to join our friendly team.
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our professional and friendly team at Dr's Phoebe and Foley. This casual role involves providing our patients with exceptional dental care and customer service. Along with chairside assisting, you will also be responsible for dental reception, administration duties and liaising with patients. Availability to assist when full time staff are sick or on leave would also be of benefit.
This Position would suit someone that is flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and enjoys being part of a supportive, friendly and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside Assisting
- Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
- Reception duties including answering telephone calls and taking enquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Payment and HiCaps processing
- Maintaining compliance with our Practice Policies and Procedures
- Providing a professional and caring environment for patient care
Skills & Experience
- Experience essential
- Cert III in Dental Assisting
- Casual Position
- Availability to assist with covering annual leave and sick leave of permanent staff an advantage
- Local Applicants Encouraged
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Dental 4 Windows experience
- Experience in balancing daily takings
- Strong Initiative
- Ability to multi task and prioritise
- Time - management skills & detail oriented
- Evidence of vaccination/immunisation history for Hepatitis B, MMR, Chicken Pox and Whooping Cough
