About the Role
The Keith Payne Unit is 31 bed psychiatric unit that specialises in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), drug and alcohol, depression, anxiety and veteran’s mental health. We are currently seeking experienced and professional Registered Nurses to join our team to help continue the specialised mental health services our unit provides. In this role you will be required to provide support to patients with mental and physical health concerns. To be successful you will be an efficient, organised and flexible individual with a strong customer focus and commitment to the team.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum two (2) years post graduate experience in Mental Health Nursing
- Relevant registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
- Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
- Advanced communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain good working relations with others
