An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and skilled Registered Nurse to become part of a dynamic team in the permanent full time role of Associate Unit Manager (AUM) in Recovery.
Warrnambool is a thriving seaside city with a population of 34,000 and a catchment area of 110,000 people. South West Healthcare (SWH) is considered one of the most modern and technologically advanced health services in regional Australia. The Warrnambool campus is the major specialist referral center for south west Victoria and provides a comprehensive range of specialist services. Recent redevelopment plans have been announced which includes the construction of a new clinical tower, housing six operating theatres.
AUM applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the South West Healthcare values of Caring, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Leadership with well develop competencies in both the clinical and management area. A post graduate qualification in the specialty area is essential.
The AUM is responsible for the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards in Theatre to ensure the delivery of quality patient care, strategic, cost effective management of service delivery and contributes to the overall management of the unit and deputises for the Nurse Unit Manager when required.
