As Quality and Risk Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and facilitating best practice systems and processes for quality and safety within Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital.
  • Preparation for and achievement of Accreditation utilizing quality systems eg ISO.
  • Providing effective leadership in quality and risk management, and assist department managers to audit and review their practices
  • Assistance in the delivery of special projects as directed by the Executive team. The role will work closely with the Hospital Executive, Departmental Heads and staff towards a hospital wide commitment to, and involvement in, continuous Improvement.

Successful candidates will have:

  • 5 years’ experience within a health care organisation
  • Relevant tertiary health sciences qualification, or acceptable equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Standards and quality systems eg ISO, ACHS
  • Understanding of quality improvement and quality management principles and practices
  • Experience in Incident and Complaints management systems and processes.
  • Presentation skills, report writing and analytic competence.
  • Ability to see projects through to completion.
  • An understanding of and commitment to quality improvement.
  • A current Working with Children check and police check
