Our company, Specialised Health, is looking for an Exercise Physiologist on the Northern Beaches or Northern Suburbs who is available to provide services as a treating practitioner.
This role suits EPs working at Occ Rehab providers wanting to move back to treatment but who are keen to maintain a blend of provision of Occ Rehab services. Also suits EPs who missed out on gaining the WC NSW Workplace and Functional Assessment accreditation as we're able to help EPs learn these and provide the services within the schemes we work (i.e. Life Insurance).
We're seeking a brilliant individual and will consider different employment structures that suit the right candidate i.e. permanent part-time 4 days per week or full time.
Services would generally include performing initial assessments, prescription and delivery of functional conditioning programs based either in the client's home, workplace or their local gym and reporting to all parties regarding progress. In addition to the typical musculoskeletal based rehab programs, we also provide Life Insurance customers with fatigue management programs, cardiac recovery programs, post-cancer rehabilitation programs, cognitive retraining and mental health programs amongst others.
Our service may also extend to visiting GPs, attending assessing workplaces and writing RTW Plans. The role is varied and as mentionedyou'll often perform a blend of Occ Rehab and EP clinical services on any given day.
You'll have the option to work remotely or from an office location in Manly Beach with our senior management team. We provide learning and development for those learning the Life Insurance scheme as well as ongoing support via team meetings, clinical roundtables and monthly inservices so, together with our management team, there is a significant amount of support and learning and development opportunities provided for our EPs regardless of whether you are a contractor or employee.
2-3 yrs experience in treatment, occupational rehabilitation or worker's compensation roles is required to deliver the service which Specialised Health has become known for.
