NeuroRehab Allied Health Network

We are an established private neurological rehabilitation practice, servicing Melbourne and surrounds. We operate from two large rehabilitation clinics in Deer Park and Thomastown to complement our community based service. Currently employing a large team of Neurological Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Neuropsychologist, Exercise Physiologists, Registered Music Therapist, Remedial Massage Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, we are now seeking a Speech Pathologist with a keen interest in Neuro Rehab / Disability to join our team.

Specialising in neurological rehabilitation, we work with clients with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy and a range of neurological impairments.  We aim to be the service of choice for participants eligible for services under the NDIS and are registered under a wide range of support categories in both capacity building and core supports.  Services are conducted both from our rehabilitation clinics and home visits. Most clients are between 18 to 60 years however we also accept referrals for paediatric and elderly clientele.

Speech Pathologist

As a NeuroRehab Allied Health Network Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering Speech Pathology services, playing a role in the development of the service and developing programs for our Allied Health Assistant staff to carry out.

Working hours are negotiated directly with clients, allowing excellent flexibility. We are seeking applications for a full time role however will also consider part-time applications with at least 3 days or 25 hours/week availability. We are happy to work with you to match your desired working days/ hours.

Remuneration is a combination of generous salary and bonus commission and is dependent on experience. A company vehicle and smart phone are provided for full-time employees and a travel allowance paid for part-time work. We are committed to continuous improvement and leading edge treatment and, as a result, we also offer a generous professional development / study leave allowance.  Our senior Speech Pathologist has over 20 years experience working in Neurology/Disability and regular supervision sessions to assist with clinical mentoring are provided. Requirements

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
• Driver's license – Melbourne travel required
• Own vehicle for part-time applications (travel allowance provided)
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Laptop / Internet access
• One year or greater post graduate experience (experience working with compensable / NDIS clients desired)

 

Candidates are required to undertake a Police check prior to appointment and are required to disclose any pre-existing injury or illness which may be adversely affected by undertaking the position.
