We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the nursing function at our Mater Private Hospital Brisbane practice. 

About the role:

• Permanent, full time opportunity.
• Lead a team of nursing staff.
• The role will work in our main medical imaging department, including the PET/CT centre, providing much variety and interesting patients cases. 
• Please note, this role will require you to wear protective lead aprons and collars during certain procedures.

About you:

Whilst previous nursing experience in Radiology would be advantageous, this is not essential. Your nursing expertise may also come from a medical/surgical, anaesthetics/recovery, emergency, or theatre/scrub background. 

You will ideally have competency in cannulation however, if not we will train you.

Above all, you will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care. You will be able to work well under pressure in a dynamic department, be a dedicated team player and have a high standard of personal presentation. A friendly, caring and compassionate nature is essential to deliver the high level of patient care Queensland X-Ray is committed to providing.
