About the role:
- Assist to take in and give out dispensed prescriptions and accurately dispense and assemble customers prescriptions as per store's processes
- Sort scripts daily in an orderly manner, accurately prepare & submit PBS claims twice a month; & reconcile PBS rejected scripts as per store's processes
- Provide an environment where the customer is welcomed and has an easy shopping experience and fare welled in a way that confirms their importance to us and welcomes their return
- Help maintain a maximum 10 minute waiting
- Resolve complaints with due concern for the customer or refer to the manager when necessary
- Maintain awareness of customers at all times, providing service and product knowledge as required; and answer the telephone politely and promptly
- Actively assist customers to make their selection by advising on the features and benefits of products that meet their needs
- Actively assist pharmacist to provide service and product information to customers by printing of CMI's and the provision of other relevant and appropriate health information
Skills & Experience required:
- Pharmacy Guild (or equivalent) Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate – having completed the dispensary technician’s stream
- S2 or S3 Certified
- Previous experience in Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant
- Passion for Pharmacy or Customer Service
- Attention to detail and Accuracy
- Reliable and Punctual
- Ability to work in a team
Availability to commit to the following roster:
- Monday: 9.00am - 6.00pm
- Thursday: 4.00pm - 9.00pm
- Saturday: 9.00am - 6.00pm
