About Opal Bankstown:

The new four story home, located only 500m from Bankstown Hospital showcases the latest aged care innovation, offering customers more choice in care, services and lifestyle activities. Opal Bankstown will provide high quality and affordable care giving residents a choice of rooms including singles with en-suites and companion rooms. There will be two specialist “Memory Support” wings dedicated to providing exceptional care for residents living with dementia.

About the Role: 

Opal Bankstown is currently looking for a Lifestyle Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for facilitating social, psychological, recreational, cultural and spiritual well-being activities for our residents. We have both full time and part time opportunities available and will be commencing interviews late March 2018 for an early May start date. 
    
Our ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

• A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle qualifications
• Previous experience facilitating Lifestyle and Recreation programs advantageous
• Aromatherapy experience also an advantage
• Experience in completing care plans, entering progress notes and attendance records
• Residential aged care and or experience working with clients with dementia preferred
