We need a true professional who can assist the Director of Nursing in leading and empowering our Care Team. A proven manager who wants to leave the daily task of Facility Management to the DON and just focus on Clinical Governance, Innovative clinical leadership, driving Continuous Improvement, overseeing ACFI (Aged Care funding Instrument), and Quality Improvement. 

This care home has residents with mixed care needs and has an excellent reputation within the local community. This home has a holistic, resident focused approach with a happy Care team who want to make a difference.   

This role would be ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse - Clinical Manager / Deputy Director of Nursing who is looking for new a challenge. OR for a Facility Manager / DON who has a passion for aged care but likes to focus on the clinical side. 

To be considered for this role, the candidate will have: 

• Excellent Clinical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ACFI.
• Manage time efficiently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and understanding of continuous improvement.
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience in managing/mentoring care staff and success in managing change
• Current APHRA Registration for relevant discipline
