Do you want to participate in creating the best team possible whilst making a positive difference to the lives of our residents? You can do this as a team member within St Vincent's Care Services (SVCS) Arundel and be part of an iconic name within the growth sector of Aged Care.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at SVCS Arundel.
In this pivotal role, you will consult with the Facility Manager, Clinical Manager and Care Staff to gather detailed information about residents and their care needs to develop individualised activity and lifestyle plans for residents with a focus on person centred care.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent qualification (essential);
- Previous experience in developing Leisure programs within Aged Care;
- Previous experience with dementia clients, developing individual programs focusing on person centred care;
- A mature, confident personality;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- The ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills;
- The ability to provide superior customer service.
