This role of Knowledge Management Associate is a key position, supporting the ongoing evolution of our EBOS Healthcare business.

Role overview

The successful applicant will engage in a wide variety of projects to enhance data management processes within EBOS Healthcare.  On occasions, they will also assist with the development of successful tender submissions.  This role will not remain static but will evolve in response to our customers’ changing needs.  As such, it needs a detailed person with a desire to effect commercial process improvements and implement change.

  • It encompasses a wide variety of data management projects for both internal and external customers
  • And requires a solution focused, detailed person, keen to make a difference to the way we do business

 

On a day to day basis the successful applicant will engage in projects to enhance data management processes within EBOS Healthcare and across the wider EBOS Group.  When required the person will also work with our Tender Administrator to build successful tender responses.

Data management projects will include the cleansing and centralisation of product and pricing data in line with GS1 standards, standardisation of business reports / presentations for internal and external customers, and the set up and maintenance of rebate templates to assist our finance team.  This role will not remain static but will evolve in response to our customers’ changing needs.  As such, it needs a detailed person with a desire to effect commercial process improvements and implement change, a proven analytical thinker focused on developing innovative solutions, who can work both autonomously and as part of a team, someone who is keen to make a difference to the business and will go out of their way to enable the same with their ‘can do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities include:

Knowledge Management:

  • Transition datasets into valuable information for the wider business and our customer base through the use of Microsoft software programs eg. Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Analyse and interpret reports to identify usage trends and uncover future business opportunities with our customers
  • Set up new knowledge resources
  • Maintain GS1 files, publishing and receiving supplier data to support accuracy of information resources

Tender Assistance:

  • Work with the Tender Administrator to build tender responses
  • Maintain and further enhance the Tender Management Process
  • Contribute to a register of tenders that have been submitted, documenting outcomes and learnings 
  • Maintain register of successful tenders and associated commitments
  • Record progress on tender deliverables for internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project mapping tools
  • Knowledge management experience using Microsoft software suite
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Past experience of document management, information analysis and reporting
  • Experience with any or all of the following:
    • data management
    • GS1/NPC
    • rebate management
    • tendering
    • development/ management of a contract register
    • writing of Standard Operating Plans
    • customer/ sales experience
