Our client was originally established in Bathurst by the Bishop and Trustees of the Catholic Diocese to provide a range of social welfare services. They have a team of professionals providing a range of services to promote the psychological and emotional wellbeing of individuals, adults, children, and families.
About The OpportunityThey are now looking for a Social Worker, Counsellor or Psychologist to join their company based in Bathurst/Orange, NSW and to work within the surrounding schools, with the potential to earn up to $100,000 pa | Negotiable Salary Based on Experience $80,000 - $100,000 + Super + Company vehicle in working hours.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide counselling services to assist students within the systemic schools.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Clinical Services and the Clinical Supervisor some of your responsibilities will include:
- Provide group-based early intervention, prevention, and remedial programmes to systemic
school communities. - Maintain records including case notes, data regarding activities, and other clinical and
administrative information. - Organise and manage referrals to other professionals for the management of cases following
psychosocial assessment when needed.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working as either a Social Worker, Counsellor or Psychologist and have demonstrable experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a range of different issues.
Additionally, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, a current AHPRA registration, registration with the Australian Psychology Registration Board, AASW or relevant accreditation body and a current drivers licence.
This position would suit someone who is personable, approachable and sensitive towards all clients and has an understanding of rural communities and what it is like to live in those areas.
