Be Active Health Solutions is a brand new offering from the Work Health Group, you will be one of the first staff members in the organisation dedicated purely to providing exercise solutions to help injured workers return to employment.
Your Role:
As an Exercise Physiologist, your key responsibilities will include working with people who have sustained a physical or psychological injury, you will assess their needs, then develop and implement exercise programs to enable a safe return to work with a new employer as part of their rehabilitation. You will work closely with other Occupational Therapists and Psychologists to individually help each person return to work in a timely manner.
What do you need?
- Bachelor of Exercise Physiology with ESSA registration
- Experience in an Exercise Physiology role, delivering programs and engaging with clients
- Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence
- An understanding of worker's compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation
