headspace Nowra is an established youth health service in the Shoalhaven Region focused on providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.
headspace Nowra are expanding to offer support to families of young people accessing our service.
This role will provide short term interventions to family, friends and carers of young people accessing the service (both individual and groups). The family Clinician will also support the headspace team in the work they do with families, and develop relationships and referral pathways with family services in the Shoalhaven region.
To be eligible, you will have relevant qualifications in either counselling, social work, psychology or equivalent and a keen interest in working with families. Experience working with families and carers is an advantage.
Support, professional development and clinical supervision will be provided for the appropriate candidate.
