The Role

Due to Internal promotion we are seeking an engaging and driven Learning Manager to design, develop and execute on all learning needs across pharmaceutical business units with appropriate focus on our evolving sales functions. You will find state-of-the-art solutions for sustainable development in alignment with the global Bayer development. You will be a proactive, results driven engaging leader who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will have a thirst for continual self-development, and want to be at the forefront of new Learning initiatives. 

Role responsibilities include but not limited to

• Serves as a strategic learning business partner (key contact person) for local BUs, marketing and sales teams to identify learning needs and to advise  sales and marketing strategic plans and current sales results
• Collaborates cross-functionally to create, develop and execute annual learning plans, conferences and cycle meetings. 
• Identifies holistic learning needs via analysis and performance consulting
• Customization of globally delivered learning content training (adaptation to local market specifics)
• Leverages adult learning concepts to enhance, develop and executes learning programs and resources (face and face and digital).
• Ensures approval of learning content through the Bayer (Legal, Regulatory and Medical review ) process and adheres to compliance processes
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, healthcare system, disease and brand knowledge (as appropriate)
• Coordinates field visits with sales reps to maximize learning transfer and maintain own infield knowledge
• Utilises learning technology  for development and execution 
• Leads on-boarding process for brand and sales

To be successful in this role you will have

• Bachelor degree in appropriate discipline 
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical learning/ training experience
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
• Proven track records of project management
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written). Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results - ensure accountability and consistently achieves results, even under tough circumstances
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Use a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses and actively seeks ways to further develop
• Able to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives and effectively provides coaching to local sales position
• Digital literacy
