An opportunity exists to work collaboratively with services, and the service access and support team, to triage clients to determine where they should best initiate their contact with Star Health. This critical role will enable Star Health to deliver ‘first call resolution’ for clients presenting with a range of needs.
To be suitable for the role you will possess the following:
• Post-secondary qualifications in mental health, counselling, psychology, AOD or similar discipline
• Significant experience triaging clients with complex needs in a community setting to determine where they may best initiate their engagement and then taking steps to secure that initial appointment
• Demonstrated ability to use a client centred empowerment approach to engage clients with multiple needs to achieve whole of person outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and educate a diverse range of groups including acute and sub-acute services, as well as service access and support
• Able to acquire knowledge of Star Health services quickly and efficiently, as well as a knowledge of the communities needs and broader service system offerings
• Ability to foster, maintain and enhance partnerships across an organisation
