ABOUT THE COMPANY

market leading, global medical business is looking for a top sales performer to add to their Melbourne team following a recent promotion. This business is specialised in everything to do with eye surgery from the consumables to the dedicated equipment to the implants that restore sight and correct vision. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Work autonomously as part of a combined sales, a technical and clinical team you will be calling into existing and new accounts in Melbourne to drive sales activity and profit growth whilst delivering a high-quality experience with each customer. 
  • Engaging stakeholders to converse at all levels from an ophthalmic surgeon and other stakeholders eg clinical team, supplies, procurement, finance will assist you in driving new product introductions, expanding current usage and competitor account conversions successfully.
  • Using your communication and collaborative skills to coordinate support from marketing / clinical support/engineering to function as a combined account team to resolve customer queries, troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrate the product and adequately cover cases..

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Surgical sales experience (70-80% of your time will be spent in the OR) 
  • Can demonstrate how you work/listen well with customers to deliver an effective value proposition and service their requirements,
  • Ability to close and secure business in the short term whilst maintaining a long-term relationship.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  •  Stable employment history with exceptional sales result record
