The Kirby Institute is a leading global research institute dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Established in 1986 in response to the then emerging HIV epidemic, the Kirby Institute now contributes to knowledge on a broad range of diseases, including viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections.
About the role
- $91K-$99K plus 9.5% superannuation and leave loading (pro-rata)
- Fixed Term for 1 year
- Part-time (7 hours per week)
Clinical Psychologist will assist with the delivery of a structured self-management intervention for patients with fatigue syndromes (chronic fatigue, post viral fatigue or post cancer fatigue) in the UNSW Fatigue Clinic as well as involvement in examining ways to further optimise interventions for fatigue management. #LI-DNI
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent professional training with 2 or more years of relevant clinical experience
- Full registration with the AHPRA with specialist Clinical Psychology title
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the delivery of structured treatment manuals
- Experience in cognitive behavioural therapy
- Capacity to work effectively both independently, and as part of a multidisciplinary team with strong organisational skills
