Of the 30 beds, 18 are funded for residential aged care. Community health services include community nursing, a range of visiting services including child and family immunisation, dietetics, mental health/ drug and alcohol, speech pathology, women’s health and a visiting Geriatrician (2-3 times per year). Learn more about the benefits and lifestyle of Gundagai What you will be doing The Nurse Manager Clinical Capability is responsible to provide nursing and midwifery education leadership and management through the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of contemporary district wide Nursing and Midwifery Directorate led transition and education programs, initiatives, strategies, policies and resources. Inclusive of rotational requirements and bulk recruitment strategies. Selection Criteria Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and experience that can be measured commensurate with Appendix 1 (Core knowledge and skills of Nurse Manager Grade 3) of the Public Health System Nurses’ and Midwives’ (State) Award 2015 with relevant tertiary post graduate qualifications or working towards the same. Demonstrated evidence of nursing management experience encompassing administration, human resource management, educational development, finance and resource management and health service delivery within a risk management framework. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and high level interpersonal skills in collaboration, negotiation and creating a positive work culture with clinicians, managers, staff and other key stakeholders.
