With over 2,500 staff, including more than 580 laboratory and clinical researchers, our team are all focused on providing better treatments, better care and potential cures for cancer.
We are currently seeking an ambitious and talented General Manager of Cancer Imaging, to join our team and provide inspirational leadership to Peter Mac's Integrated Cancer Imaging Department, which provides high quality, specialised diagnostic imaging and treatment and also has a highly regarded education, research and clinical trials portfolio. The Department comprises radiology and nuclear medicine and supports care for inpatients, out patients and same day work. The new General Manager of Cancer Imaging will have a collaborative approach and excellent leadership skills, highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and communication abilities, a track record of operating in a strategic capacity and an understanding of the interrelationship between research, clinical trials and service provision whilst always focusing on the needs of the patient.
Reporting into the Executive Chief Nursing Officer and Chairing the Department's management team, this is a unique opportunity for a candidate either with prior experience within Cancer Imaging or broader healthcare exposure to take on an exciting challenge.
