The Role
We are looking for a Clinical Product Specialist for the VIC team. The position is based out of Melbourne with interstate travel. The purpose is to complement selling activities by providing product expertise during and after the sales process. You are the clinical and technical product matter expert.
You are responsible for:
- Supporting the sales team in their sales by applying highly clinical and technical knowledge during the sales process, installations, and with training of clinicians.
- Training and education of hospital staff members.
- Trials and product demonstrations.
- Addressing product specific customer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills and experiences:
- Prior experience as a Clinical/Product Specialist with experience in a commercial environment or clinical role with related product application knowledge required, i.e. ICU/ED/Theatre Nurse with Monitoring experience. We are also interested in speaking to Biomedical Engineers.
- Tertiary Education – Healthcare, Science, IT or related discipline.
- Commercial mindset and Business Acumen (you are supporting the sales team).
- High level of technical competence and clinical experience and excellent presentation skills.
- Passion for a fast paced company environment, open for change, and the warmth and empathy to build good rapport with the range of customers you will deal with.
