ABOUT THE ROLES:
Mercy Mental Health is interested in hearing from RPN’s who would like to join our multi-disciplinary team in providing highly responsive & a flexible service to consumers in our newly built “state of the art” Acute Inpatient Unit.
- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital - Clare Moore Building (Acute Inpatient Unit)
- Permanent full time or part positions available (rotating roster)
- Opportunities for dynamic high performing Registered Psychiatric Nurses with a sound understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities under relevant legislation
- Candidates will be required to be flexible in terms of work placement
- Recovery approach to client care and discharge planning

ABOUT YOU:
- Registered Nurse currently registered with AHPRA
- Post Grad Qualification in Mental Health nursing or working towards same
- Experience within acute psychiatric units desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work closely within a multi-disciplinary team and organisational skills
- Evidence of understanding of the Mental Health Act, other relevant legislation.
- A sound, current knowledge and understanding of public mental health services delivery, including Government strategic directions.
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills

Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also offer inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
