Our client has successfully delivered services and programs that strengthen and support life relationships for over 90 years. It aims to empower people to live and relate more effectively, and responds to the vulnerabilities of families and children in their communities by preparing and supporting clients in their development of strong and respectful relationships. The organisation has a well-established reputation for innovation. It is now seeking to appoint a senior executive role, Head of Research and Innovation, to build on this solid foundation.
Reporting to the CEO, and working collaboratively across all business units, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying sector issues, emerging trends and market opportunities and responding to these with innovative service solutions;
- Driving service quality through implementation of robust service excellence frameworks for both clinical and non-clinical products and services;
- Developing and implementing Clinical Governance Audit tools;
- Ensuring new product and service areas are underpinned by vigorous research;
- Leading and motivating the team by modelling the values of the organisation; and,
- Contributing to the organisation's strategic and business plans.
With appropriate tertiary qualifications and deep experience in research and development gained within community and family services, you will have a track record in the development and implementation of quality frameworks. Strong leadership skills, the ability to balance commercial considerations with community and client needs, and high level communication sills will be critical to success in this role. The ability to develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships at State and Federal government levels is essential.
