About the role
As a Registered Nurse at Chronos Care, you will work with the care team to maintain a high standard of contemporary care and compliance. You will be confident to guide the care staff through your leadership, monitoring, and extensive aged care experience, reporting to the Facility Manager.
We are seeking casual Registered Nurses. Must be available to work weekends.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordination of professional care practice
- Ensuring safe administration of medication
- Managing staff by planning, allocating and delegating duties
- Assists and contributes to efficient and effective management of resources
- Participation in auditing and continuous improvement
The successful candidate will have:
- AHPRA Registered Division 1 Nurse
- Experience in assessments and care planning
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Aged Care
- Experience in team building and coordination
- Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues
- Experience with AACQA accreditation standards, quality systems and continuous improvement
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements in the aged care sector
- Proven problem solving, decision making, written and communication skills
